Christine Schultheis - finding instant solutions through family constellations

About Constellation Work

Sometimes, the patterns shaping our lives are not immediately visible. Constellation work offers a way to bring these connections into awareness and explore new possibilities for change.

What is Constellation work?

Systemic constellation work offers a way to explore what lies beneath the surface of a personal, relational or professional situation. Hidden dynamics, connections and patterns can become visible, allowing us to see a situation from a new perspective.

The approach has its roots in family constellation work and has evolved over time to be used in many different contexts – from personal questions and relationships to teams, organisations and other systems.

We are part of many systems

We are all part of different systems – our family, relationships, workplace, community, clubs and many others. Each system has its own dynamics, relationships and patterns that can influence how we think, feel and act.

By looking at these connections, constellation work can help us understand what is happening beneath the surface, recognise what may be holding us back and discover new possibilities for change.

WHAT CAN A CONSTELLATION HELP YOU EXPLORE?

A constellation can help you explore situations that feel difficult, confusing or stuck. You may bring questions about relationships, family, work, important decisions, life transitions or recurring patterns that you have not been able to change.

By looking at the connections and dynamics beneath the surface, you can gain a new perspective on your situation. What becomes visible may help you understand what has been influencing you and open up space for clarity, conscious choices and new possibilities.

What happens in a constellation?

A constellation creates a space in which a situation can be represented and experienced from a different perspective. Elements of the issue – such as people, relationships, roles or other relevant aspects – are given a place within the constellation.

By observing how these elements relate to one another, patterns and dynamics can become visible that may be difficult to recognise from our usual point of view. This can open new perspectives and support a deeper understanding of the situation.

What could it change for you?

A new perspective can shift the way you see a situation – and sometimes, that is where change begins. Constellation work can help you recognise patterns, reconnect with your own resources and find new ways forward.
